The Seahawks Youth Lacrosse Program is gearing up for an exciting fall season, marked by a series of engaging “New-to-Lacrosse” sessions. Set against the backdrop of our brand-new location at Hershorin Schiff Community Day School in Sarasota, Florida, these sessions are designed to introduce both boys and girls, aged 5 to 15, to the exhilarating world of lacrosse. As a community-focused initiative, the program aims to foster a love for the sport while preparing kids for the upcoming fall recreational lacrosse season.
Parents are already singing the praises of the initial sessions. A delighted parent shared, “I’m so grateful for this program because my son is interested in trying a new sport, and the Seahawk coaches are so good with the kids.” The Seahawks’ commitment to creating a positive and supportive environment is evident, creating the perfect setting for curious kids to explore their potential in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere.
The Seahawks Youth Lacrosse Program, known as Sarasota’s original community lacrosse program, is excited to welcome all aspiring lacrosse players. As Founding Director of Seahawks Lacrosse Club, Jamie Carver, expressed, “I love introducing sport to kids eager to learn something new. I’ve been doing this for more than 30 years, and my passion continues to grow with each season.” With the regular fall season commencing on September 5th, there’s still ample time to register and join the Seahawks family at www.seahawkslacrosse.com. The Seahawks Lacrosse Club remains steadfast in its commitment to growing the game of lacrosse throughout Southwest Florida, and this fall promises to be another vibrant chapter in their enduring legacy.
